Automated Sorting By Upvotes
It would be nice if the “Browse Ideas” content had a way to sort ideas by popularity.
I find myself browsing ideas, and would like to be able to quickly see which ones my customers are upvoting the most.
Support for Excerpts
It would be nice if ideas could utilize a post excerpt instead of always showing the first 20 or so words from a post. That way submitted ideas can be polished with a summary in the “browse ideas” view, and clicking on the card would show an expansion of the idea.
Radio button filters
I would like to be able to have filters that are radio buttons instead of checkboxes. Example. The filter could be “I am a paying customer” and the terms would be “yes” and “no”.
Add A “Theme” to the Colors
It would be nice to have default theme color sets for quick and easy application of colors.
Maybe have a button with all the color codes, then when you click it, it automatically fills in those swatches, but doesn’t save immediately, so you can customize the colors based on the color set that was selected
See if an idea has already been submitted
Adding some kind of ajax fuzzy search to see if an idea has been suggested already would be great for cutting down on duplicate ideas.
On the dashboard show the list first
When clicking on “RoadMap” in the left admin bar, it’ll take you to the settings page.
I think it would be better if it would take you to the list of submitted ideas.
The settings page is not something that you use often, it could be the last sub-item.
